since when is “love rival” a legitimate term to be tossed around casually? a friend said it’s a case of the “AP Virus.” the wire dudes, strapped for a pithy description and in a hurry to get the story out, went with “love rival.” and now everyone’s repeating it like it ain’t no thing.
