After the show it's the after party

by colleen on August 14, 2007

woke up with a strong craving for a buttered bagel, a coke, and montell jordan’s classic tune. so i went out and fetched the bagel and coke and downloaded the song. once those immediate desires were gratified, the day opened up to me. things i’ve done:

1. dropped off laundry
2. bought cherries, grapes, paper towels, and cat food
3. lurked around the film/TV shoot that’s going on today right outside my apartment building. at first i was pulling the “i’m a new yorker, this does not impress me” routine. but after a while i gave up and started gawking along with everyone else. also, i had the momentary fantasy that i might meet some hot actor or director or get discovered or something. i am a huge dork.
4. drank a wheat grass shot and a beta bee smoothie from elixer
5. emailed work to get a transcript, scanned said transcript, pulled a few words for a honcho & sent his way
6. moved my couch
8. watched more of Scenes From a Marriage” . it’s really good.
9. did a google search and re-discovered the name of the disturbing documentary about child beauty pageants: Living Dolls: The Making of a Child Beauty Queen . Sadly, it’s not available on Netflix.
10. Took a lot of Advil, drank a lot of water. Regarding my my head: owie.
7. forgot how to count. owie.

A good way to remember #32! LOL!

“so, tip the cup, throw your hands up and let me hear the party say….I’m kinda buzzed and it’s all because….”

Yeah…baby!

Did I ever tell you that when I was in grad school in SD, I joined this HUGE group (like 100 people) and we learned a dance to this song and performed it at 1/2 time at a San Diego Chargers game?

Hilarious! Don’t ask me to do the dance, I don’t think I remember it.

and no lost, you DIDN’T tell me about that. another gem from the lost files. that’s classic! this and your tenures as a fitness instructor and dancer on mtv’s ‘the grind’ makes me want to get you to a dance club PRONTO!

spill, thank you for getting me home and enduring my explosion of love. (and no, you pervs out there, it’s not what it sounds like).
