2007 in Review

What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?

Went surfing.

Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I’m more into making small changes every day that add up to big changes over time.

What countries did you visit?

None. I was an isolationist this year. Not on purpose … it just turned out that way.

What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

A suitable partner, a challenging job and, if my situation permits, a dog.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Detaching from multiple unhealthy relationships and situations.

What was your biggest failure?

Not fully owning my power … yet.

Did you suffer from illnesses or injuries?

Had some moles removed, which gave me stitches and scars. Food poisoning and a really bad cold. But nah, I’ve pretty much been blessed with good health and I cherish it.

What was the best thing you bought?

My HD TV! (The honeymoon’s still not over, especially now that i have a Wii!)

Where did most of your money go?

Pleasure.

What did you get really, really, really excited about?

The future of communication.

Same as last year: dating, seeing live music, rocking cool duds, having free-wheeling convo with creative folk.

Same as last year: fucking around aimlessly on the Internet for hours and days on end.

How will you be spending New Year’s Eve?

Not sure yet, and not really sweatin’ it tho.

Did you fall in love in 2007?

Yes, with a man-child. I’m ready now for this.

Same as last year: a real lady doesn’t kiss and tell.

What was your favorite TV program?

Same as last year: The Office. But now 30 Rock and Ellen are very close runners up.

Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?

Same as last year: I’m a lover, not a hater.

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

Threw a party for myself. Tons of fun. 32.

What one thing would have made your year measurably more satisfying?

A lasting intimate relationship with a cool guy.

Friends, Animals, Talented Professionals.
