oh, motionPortraitl! how i love thee! we are working on one of my fave things … promoting new shows … and in the name of research i have been all over the web hunting for the coolest new stuff. came across this oh so wacky japanese web site that lets you 3-D animate photos … input a flat image and it turns to 3-D head … the eyes blink, the head turns, the eyes and head follow along with your cursor. i’ve been ‘stache-ing up my coworkers. and even some pals like laurs (pictured below). for the full effect you have to try uploading a picture of your own.
