we went to my godmother’s apartment on the lower east side. grand street and fdr drive. amazing views. here’s a shot from the back terrace looking east to brooklyn.

liam was a hit as always. the kid is full of happiness, positive mental energy and pure love. no fears whatsoever. he had a ball with cousin donna’s little girl, essence.

here he is later on, zoning out.

look at that chubbster wrist. i wanna bite it.

this is kinda off topic but here’s my new duvet cover and pillows (modeled by the rufie bear).

i am so thankful for my life and everyone in it. thought it might be hard yesterday … first holiday without dad. but it wasn’t. he had been very sick the past two (maybe even three) years on thanksgiving … he stayed home alone … and the rest of us celebrated in different places. for the past few years, thanksgiving was a sorta sad/weird holiday for us. yesterday, though, the kenny’s were together with the exception of kev who remained in SF , but will come home in January when the baby (Liam’s lil sis) comes. it was relaxing, fun, warm and easy. no drama, no worries. yeah, it’s different without pops but we have pulled together and are still the family he so loved and was proud of.

How wonderful, Col! I am so glad to hear that you and the fam had a great day
I thought only old Jews and blacks lived down there. No way your godmother is a Jew.
