happy birthday bro bri!
Bro Bri continues to set the standard in my eyes for what a great man should be. I said it all last year, but I’ll say it again cause that’s what birthdays are for — celebrating those we love. How lucky I am to have Brian as my big bro. He’s always been my biggest fan, my protector, my friend and confidante. And now he’s the inspiration for the kind of person I want to be and kind of dude I want to find. Totally focused on being an amazing husband and Dad, while at the same time remaining a cool, interesting, funny guy in his own right. He’s tough and strong while — at the same time — emotionally open and generous. He’s kind. As kids he would always look out for the little guy. He was the opposite of a bully. He’s got the Knights Code of Chivalry thing going. Happy Birthday Bro Bri! I love you with all my heart and i still look up to you!
Knights Code of Chivalry
A knight was expected to have not only the strength and skills to face combat in the violent Middle Ages but was also expected to temper this aggressive side of a knight with a chivalrous side to his nature. It was a moral system which went beyond rules of combat and introduced the concept of Chivalrous conduct – qualities idealized by knighthood, such as bravery, courtesy, honor, and gallantry toward women.
