i love funk. funky da dunky.in college we listened to parliament constantly. we dressed up like funk masters and even performed to parliament’s “give up the funk” in a lip sync contest (note to self: get that posted on youtube already!). here’s photo-documentation (Notre Dame Knott Hall circa 1993).
on wednesdays whenever people say “hump day” i launch into the song bop gun … “got to get over the hump!” enjoy:

My funk pedigree is pretty lame, but I did do the “white boy” twist to “Flashlight” once or twice… (okay, and to The_Ohio_Players. But none matched the funk of Parliament).
