when i get the jitters about life, worrying about what bad shit could happen, i have to flip it. turn off those negative messages, see it for what it is and move forward. a good anthem for doing so: “just fine” by mary j. blige. miss mary is the embodiment of all the P’s: positivity, passion, patience and perseverance.

i really miss tribe. i was blasting midnight marauders last night on my drive back to the city. wondering if there is crazy good amazing innovation going on somewhere in the music world that i’m missing out on. viva new york, viva ATCQ.

yes folks, summer’s finally here. i, for one, plan to enjoy every last moment of it! am not a big fan of will smith (simply because i think he’s a huge dork) but i’ve gotta give props to this song. the nostalgia, the fun.
